Upcoming Events at Notre Dame

The Religious Education Office is preparing a mailing to all families who have previously registered with the Office.  The mailing will include the 2019-2020 registration form.  If you have not been registered in the past, or have any questions about sacraments, please contact the Office of Religious Education at 724-981-9447 or email: religioused@notredame-pa.org.  Note: We also offer Religious Ed classes for Pre-K.  Thank you for your commitment to passing on the Faith.

The next OWLS potluck dinner will be held on Saturday, September 14 after the 4:30 pm Mass.  For more information contact Ann Nicolls at (724) 962 – 7164.

The Notre Dame Book Club will meet Thursday, September 19 at 6:30 pm in the Parish Conference Room.  We will be reading Bear Town by Fredrik Backman.  Books are available in the parish office.  Please join us!

—   LUKE LIVE   —

Luke Live, our Parish Mission on the Gospel of Luke, will be held at the Church of Notre Dame on Monday September 23 through Wednesday September 25 at 7:00 pm each evening.  Luke Live is a dramatic proclamation for people of all ages by Paulist Fr. James DiLuzio, Paulist priest, missionary and actor.  Fr. James travels throughout the country with his powerful recitation of Luke’s Gospel.  Don’t miss this opportunity to devote time for these powerful evenings encountering the Gospel the way the early generations of Christians encountered it:  stories about Jesus shared from the heart with hymns, songs and preaching.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2019 for all Eleventh Grade students desiring to receive the sacrament in the spring.

NET [National Evangelization Team] will be facilitating the retreat.  NET is a team of young adults who travel the nation spreading God’s Word, mission and teachings.  These young people are filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit.  The team includes five males and six females.  We are in need of three host families to house the six young women [2 per family].  In addition to the host families, we could also use a benefactor to help defray the expense.  If you could help in any of these areas, or need more details, please do not hesitate to contact Joe Ranelli at (724) 981–9447.  Your gift of generosity is appreciated.  May God continue to bless and guide you.
