There are several programs throughout the Valley that focus on supplies (notebooks, pencils, etc.); this year, we turn our focus to meeting a different but just as important need.

Underwear and Sock Drive

On August 26th, Prince of Peace Center will distribute the following items to the needy children of families that attend the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen programs which the Cen-ter provides.

Sizes K-12 needed (Children through adult sizes):

• New Socks: ALL SIZES

• New Underwear:

 Girls/Women: various styles

 Boys/Men: boxers

You may place your donations of these items into the desig-nated box in the back of the Church now through August 23rd or drop them off at the Prince of Peace Center, 502 Darr Ave., Farrell.

Your donations of clothing items will aid parents in preparing their children to return to school with a positive image and attitude.
