Come celebrate Deacon Frank Hannah & his wife Carrie!

With great joy, our parish family prepares for the upcoming ordination to the Holy Order of Deacon for Frank Hannah (his wife Carrie), to be conferred through the invocation of the Holy Spirit and the imposition of hands by the Bishop of Erie, Lawrence Persico, on Friday, May 28.

Our parish family will celebrate with Deacon Frank as he, for the first time, proclaims the Gospel, preaches the Good News, and assists Father Allen at the altar, at all the Masses of Thanksgiving.

Aside from extensive coursework, Frank has engaged in pastoral service at Church of the Beloved Disciple with his mentor, Deacon Owen Wagner (our parishioner) and Notre Dame. Frank has been involved in ministries of teaching within the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), Lector and Eucharistic Minister. He offers Wednesday evening prayer by Zoom (see bulletin for more info) and co-ordinates the scheduling of liturgical ministries.
