Retreats

Divine Mercy Encounter

DME is a three-day retreat program. Each day has a different focus: Friday is the Day of Invitation, focusing on how God is inviting us into relationship. Saturday is the Day of Encounter, where we encounter God through the sacraments, Adoration, and others. Sunday is the Day of Commission, where we as a community are empowered to evangelize and share our faith.

The weekend includes talks, exposure to different types of prayer, Mass, community, and much more. The weekend runs from 10 a.m. on Friday to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and retreat participants stay onsite for the weekend. If you have any questions or would like to apply, go to https://www.divinemercyencounter.com or call/text Jo Feeney at (724) 699-3340.

Cursillo

Cursillo is an apostolic movement of the Catholic Church that is designed to help practicing Christians:

  • Renew and strengthen their love of Jesus.
  • Grow in faith, knowledge, and personal holiness.
  • Bring Christian values to all environments and people with whom they come into contact and make those values the pattern for their own lives.

If you would be interested in getting more information about making a Cursillo weekend retreat, please contact Mercer County coordinators Father Richard Allen at (724) 981-5566 or Dave D’Urso at (724) 456-5280.
