Thursday, October 21st, 3-7pm at HOPECat

As the holiday season quickly approaches, please consider helping to feed the hungry by supporting Empty Bowls.

The event centers around a simple meal of soup and bread provided by local restaurants and bakeries, and features handcrafted bowls, made and donated by local schools and amateur and professional artisans. We’d love to have you join us for this simple meal that signifies how little some of our neighbors have to eat. The empty bowl is a reminder of your choice to fight hunger in Mercer County. The funds raised from this event help the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County fulfill its mission of providing supplemental food to those who are hungry and raising awareness of hunger throughout our local communities.

Ticket cost is $20, which includes the meal and your choice of bowl. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.com, at the Community Food Warehouse or at the door. There will also be a basket raffle, silent auction and live pottery demonstrations. For more information call 724-981-0353.
