Father Larry Richards was the guest speaker at our Men’s Breakfast on June 3 in the parish  Multi-Purpose Room.  Nearly 60 men from Notre Dame and throughout the Shenango Valley attended morning Mass and breakfast. The parish hopes to make it an annual event.

Father Richards, pastor of St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community in Erie, is a much-sought-after speaker, preacher and retreat master. He also is the founder and president of The Reason for our Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ‘spreading the Good News’ by educating others about Jesus Christ. 

Father Richards told  the audience that to be a true follower of Christ they needed to love and not judge. He told the men how to to live as a beloved son of God, by following Jesus example — how he lived his life and died for our salvation. The breakfast was coordinated by the parish Social Engagement Team, which is a part of Notre Dame’s Revitalization Committee.
